StarLink update

What’s happened to StarLink grower claims? Most of the claims from StarLink growers should be settled, according to an official manning a phone at the StarLink Logistic Inc., office. The non-StarLink grower claims are still being processed. A New York attorney handling the claims reported about 5,000 claims still need to be cleaned up because 8,000 claims were incorrectly filled out. He estimated 70,000 total claims were filed by non-StarLink growers. Payment on these claims may be possible by this summer. If a grower has filed a claim and has not heard anything, it is because the claim is complete. Incorrect claims automatically are routed back to the grower for revisions.
