Max Armstrong talks about fire prevention week, corn and soybean harvest progress and a teen raising money for milk.

It's National Fire Prevention Week. We're reminded often of the dangers of fire fighting. In an average year, there are more than 100 line-of-duty deaths of firefighters.

The weekly crop progress report will be delayed a day this week, but are sure to show that the corn and soybean harvest are behind average.

Crop loss worries are starting.

There are many teens who are doing good things. A girl in North Dakota raised thousands of dollars for kids to get milk at lunch and snack time at school.
