Max Armstrong talks hurricanes, hogs and an effort by environmental groups to target the swine industry

Max Armstrong looks back at a pollution problem caused by Hurricane Florence and it wasn’t the hog industry. Several human waste management facilities overflowed while there were very few problems with hog operations. Max looks at an effort by groups with an agenda to paint a negative image of North Carolina’s hog industry.

Farm Progress America is a daily look at key issues in agriculture. It is produced and presented by Max Armstrong, veteran farm broadcaster and host of This Week in Agribusiness.
