Executive officers of the Renewable Fuels Association (RFA), Growth Energy and the American Coalition for Ethanol (ACE) will be speaking at the Fuel Ethanol Workshop’s (FEW) opening general session on Tuesday, June 11. They will provide updates on safeguarding RFS2; correcting misinformation about Renewable Identification Numbers (RINs); building the market for E15 and mid-level blends; and the commercialization of advanced and cellulosic ethanol.
“Not only will the information be extremely insightful for attendees of the FEW, but it will also help the industry better understand where the market is heading into 2014,” said Tom Bryan, president, BBI International, which produces the annual event.
The general session will be followed by a panel discussion on cellulosic ethanol and the companies that have pioneered cellulosic production. Representatives from Dong Energy Power, INEOS Bio, DuPont Industrial Biosciences, Abengoa Bioenergy and Poet-DSM Advanced Biofuels will discuss construction and commissioning progress, as well as commercial-scale production goals for 2013 and beyond.
FEW will be held June 10-13, in St. Louis, MO. The event is expected to draw more than 2,000 attendees, including ethanol producers, investors, industry suppliers and policymakers.
