If you want to take advantage of some of the new cab features offered this year, but you can’t quite swing buying a new tractor, dealer-installed attachments may be your answer. Want to make your early-model John Deere tractor feel like new? Here are John Deere’s most popular attachments that provide the latest in creature comforts. For more information, see your local John Deere dealer or visit http://johndeere.com .
1. Radio, Deere/Delco sound systems
The Deere/Delco radios are available with or without a CD player. For clear reception, an external antenna is included. The system also features separate seek and treble/bass controls, clock, weatherband for access to NOAA Weather Channel broadcasts, and front audio input jack for MP3 players.
2. Sun shades and sun visor
The pull-down shade for the front windshield blocks the sun's bright light and reduces glare. Operators can adjust the amount of window coverage desired.
3. Field Office
The Field Office provides a convenient and protective storage area for office supplies, CDs, documents and cellphones.
4. Instruction seat
The instruction seat provides a comfortable and convenient location for new or inexperienced operators to sit while learning how to operate the tractor.
5. Mounting bracket
The accessories bracket is available for mounting monitors, phones, radios and other accessories in one convenient location. The bracket connects in the existing holes inside the cab.
6. Power strip
The power strip provides six additional outlets for key-switched or live power when you rotate the position of the plug 180 degrees.
7. Rear sliding window
A rear sliding window is available for field installation on many models.
