Iowa farmer digs up interesting finds at local show

With nearly 2,000 booths, the January Iowa Power Farming Show [3] is an opportunity to scope out hundreds products developed, often by farmers themselves, to meet highly specialized needs.

Gordon Wassenaar, a life-long farmer from Prairie City, IA, and a former leader of both soybean and corn organizations, served as an unofficial guide to new or unique products at the 2014 show. 

Here is a sampling of some of the products that caught his eye among the seven acres of displays.
