LET IT SNOW
The bad news is that snow will be here before you know it. The good news is that Agri-Cover has manufactured the Snowsport Personal Utility Plow, a lightweight aluminum extrusion blade to clear the snow.
The blade mounts on a 2-in. receiver to the front of a pickup. No hydraulic or electric controls are involved. Instead, the unit's push frame guides the plow blade and allows it to slide up and down with the grade of the terrain. The thick-rubber cutting edge moves snow as it flexes over stationary objects.
The plow's rubber box ends also enable it to move snow quickly and easily. Its low profile allows the pickup's driver to use headlights while transporting or plowing.

Brandt Industries has gone about as low as it can go with its GrainDeck. That's a compliment, not an insult. The firm's portable grain pit is just 6½ in. off the ground.
That's particularly important when a semitrailer drives over the pit to unload grain. Pits that are too high can sometimes hang up on the fuel tanks of semitrailers. “You want the pit as low as possible,” explains Lynn Ziegler, U.S. sales/marketing manager for Brandt.
The GrainDeck's 20-in.-wide belt enables it move 9,000 to 10,000 bu. of grain/hr. The unit also is designed to handle grain from pup trailers. Contact Brandt Industries Ltd., Dept. FIN, Box 317, Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada S4P 3A1, 866/427-2638, www.Brandt.ca.
