18 new tools for managing hay and forage

The livestock industry - beef, dairy and pork - are a bright spot in the ag market these days, and it appears equipment companies are "following the money." For 2015 a range of new products are coming to market offering producers a the chance to boost productivity for the feed-making side of their businesses. From mower-conditioners to new higher-horsepower windrowers, the Farm Progress Show New Products Team has uncovered a solid offering of equipment to check out.

In this gallery, you'll not only find tools for feed-making, but also attachments and innovations for capturing cornstalks and other materials to capitalize on the burgeoning biomass market. Even if your area doesn't have alternative energy crop potential, better stalk use can improve your feed cost picture too, and companies are innovating for this area too.
