Case Construction upgrades wheel loader lineup

There’s not much that can beat a trip to the Northwoods of Wisconsin in the fall. Crisp, clear days and a palette of colors make for some great viewing. But a real treat is to enjoy this ambience with some serious time behind the wheel. And that’s just what the folks at Case Construction had in mind when they invited a select group of editors to Tomahawk, Wis., for the unveiling of the company’s all-new G Series wheel loaders.

Of course, the focal point of the wheel loader market is the construction and earthmoving environments. But wheel loaders continue to gain traction on the farm, especially in dairies and feedlots where continual movement of large amounts of material is necessary. And Case looking to satisfy the market demand with the G Series.

Why Tomahawk? Well, for more than 40 years (and more than 100 years, if you follow the history of the legacy company) Case has operated the 500-acre test facility located in northern Wisconsin. It’s a virtual playground, where Case tests equipment, trains dealers and entertains customers in some picture-postcard settings. Here, you will find every piece of equipment in the Case Construction lineup.

Seven new G Series wheel loaders were introduced. The new models feature Tier 4 Final compliant engines with Selective Catalytic Reduction engine technology, increasing fuel efficiency, keeping exhaust temperatures down and no need for regeneration or lifetime diesel particulate filter costs/maintenance.

Models range from the 521G to the 1121G, in horsepower ranges from 141 to 347. The company says the 621G, 721G and 821G are the models sized for the agricultural market.
